Apprenticeship EPA: Level 3 Fire Safety Advisor 

Role

A Fire Safety Advisor (FSA) works with businesses to reduce risk of fire at their premises.

They take appropriate steps when enforcement action is required. The role is designed to save life, prevent injury, enhance business continuity and protect premises.

The key function of a FSA is to visit simple premises for the purpose of fire safety advice. Simple premises are defined by the sector as small buildings with a simple layout such as small shops, offices or industrial units with non-complex means of escape.

Xact Assessment is Ofqual recognised as an EPAO: End Point Assessment Organisation for this apprenticeship programme.

EPA Duration

It is expected that EPA should take no longer than three months.
